Go Money Go

2003 Bay Tobiano Mare

This could easily be the best My Indian Money filly there is.

Paint Barrel Futurity Prospect for Sale - Go Money GoShe's got it all - class, athletic ability, disposition, speed and pedigree.  Her dam is about everything you could want in a mare.  Kind, beautiful, big, and very well bred.  Raise a Runner was a World Champion.  Her bottom side is strong producers from the female family of the great mare Barbara 2.

If you like 'em free running and long strided . . . here's your mare.  She'll mature at 15.3.

She's well started under saddle and has been ridden outside.  She's had about 90 days at the trainers and is now enjoying the winter off.  She's seen a whole bunch of things - from sheep to traffic.  She still spooks at strange things.  When she does, she is so athletic that it takes a good and alert rider to stick with her.  She hasn't had any arena time - it's all been out in big country.  She likes to go but has a decent stop and turn already and will back up and side pass.  She has a nice, fairly collected lope.  She's still green on things like gait transitions.

She had the winter off and is still in the pasture.  We'd like to sell her now, without paying a trainer to start her on barrels.  If we send her to a trainer, we'll just have to price her higher.

You can see from last summer's pictures below that she wasn't getting ridden for 10 minutes and going back in the stall.  She saw some country and some wet saddle blankets. We like to give them plenty of time to grow up so she hasn't been pushed but she's ready to start doing some real work.

This mare has a good disposition, she doesn't have bad habits.  She's not inclined to buck but that doesn't mean that she won't.  She could be easier to catch; she's not a "pet-me" type horse.  Please understand that this is not a horse for a beginner nor a youth nor someone that wants a horse to eat grain all week and go for a trail ride on a weekend.  She has a big motor and she's bred to run.  This is a horse for someone that wants a high caliber barrel horse and has the ability to train and ride one.  If you inquire about this mare, please understand that we'll need to know if you meet those criteria.  We aren't trying to be rude - just to make sure everyone is happy, especially the mare.

Please, no inquires on this mare from minors.  While we do have some horses for sale that we'd be happy to talk to those under 18 about first (we'd have to talk to your parents eventually, of course), this is just not that kind of horse.  If parents have read all of this information, we'd be happy to talk to them about how this mare might work for their son or daughters.  But please, if you are under 18, have Mom or Dad contact us first on this mare.

Our work loads have convinced us we need to cut back on young horses.  We are motivated to get this good mare in the hands of a solid futurity trainer.  SOLD!  Watch for this mare in Texas barrel races in the future!
