Could this filly be any classier? From her gorgeous head to her big sloping hip, this filly is just pretty, pretty, pretty!
She comes by it naturally - there is a reason that people seek out On A High daughters - they not only produce runners, they produce very good looking horses! Of course the same is true for Shawne Bug mares. This filly's dam has been a great mare for us - easy to get along with and easy to sell her colts. Her three year old son is a successful skijoring horse in CO and his new owners love him.
Her sire is a cow/reining bred horse bred to be a performer with a great mind. Doc's Remedy and Doc's Hickory certainly need no introduction to performance horse people. Mr. Basic Black was a prolific sire of really good minded, do-it all rodeo horses in the Dakotas. Don't Doc 108 made us want to buy his sire - so we did! We'll be breeding several of our mares to Don't Doc in 2011!
This filly is fun to watch playing. She's got just enough attitude to have some grit and she's a natural working off her hind end. She's an athlete!
This filly will make a great rider now and a great broodmare later. Her dam is coal black and she is dun so she will be able to produce grullas and she could be homozygous for black. $900
